Joumana Kidd Speaks
After game 5 of the Nets-Celtics
series, which took place in New Jersey, Jason Kidd's
wife interviewed with a few media members about some
of the very personal and harsh things some fans in Boston
were chanting at Jason and at her.
This was her main statement:
"I think it was Paul Pierce
made a comment that "this is what playoffs are
about," and I think that he has a point, it's kind
of like no holds barred, and you have class or you don't.
You can hit below the belt, or you don't have to. And
like I said before, you kind of have to take it as a
compliment, because it's almost like, "Gosh, this
guy is so good, how can we stop him, we've got to really,
really reach here and lose all our values and morals
and probably feel really crappy when we get home and
take our mirrors down because we can't look in the mirror,
because we feel so awful. I don't know, I mean, it's
a compliment."
