Quick look at last night's NBA

By INSIDEHOOPS.COM

Ever since the rise of Andre Miller (and perhaps even before that), Cleveland Cavaliers guard Brevin Knight has been on the trading block. After much speculation a deal has finally gone through, sending Knight to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for swingman Jim Jackson. Knight was doomed in Cleveland, as Miller has worked hard to become a fantastic young point guard who plays better defense than Knight (not hard to do) and also runs a team better. While the Cavs have a glut of players of Jackson's size and skills, he can score, and will help them more than Brevin was.

Chris Dudley always seems to go insane whenever playing against the Lakers. We believe it's due to the humiliation he suffered about a year ago when Shaq dunked on him, knocking him backwards, then shoving him down like yesterday's trash. That is still one of the most outrageous signs of disrespect we have seen in the NBA. And it was damn fun to watch.

Tony Delk scored 53 points last night in a loss to the Kings. Travis Best has emerged as a scoring freak this year, so now it's Delk's turn. He shot 20 of 27. His previous high was 26 points.

More players stepping up:  Jason Terry scored 32 points in leading the Hawks over the Celtics, 92-81... Stephon Marbury scored 30 to lead the Nets to a rare victory, in Orlando... Darius Miles dropped 26 points on the Raptors. He also grabbed 10 rebounds. Miles played power forward for almost the entire game, shocking if you consider that he was up against the likes of Charles Oakley and Kevin Willis, both of whom have more muscles in their toes than Miles does in his upper body... Jermaine O'Neal had 20 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocked shots to help the Pacers beat the Sonics, 91-83...  Vlade Divac had 34 points and Peja Stojakovic had 33 as the Kings took overtime to beat the Suns...
