Cleveland Cavaliers sign Lucious Harris

The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed guard Lucious Harris to a contract, Cavaliers President and General Manager of Basketball Operations Jim Paxson announced today. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Signing Lucious continues our goal of adding quality, veteran players with playoff experience to our team,” said Paxson. “He has been to the NBA Finals twice and been a very consistent contributor throughout his career. He will add quality to our backcourt at both positions.”
Harris played in 69 games (15 starts) last season with New Jersey and averaged 6.9 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 21.8 minutes per game. An 11-year veteran, Harris has played in 54 playoff games, including back-to-back trips to the NBA Finals as a member of the New Jersey Nets in 2002 and 2003.
He has career averages of 7.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 20.0 minutes per game.
