Greg Oden arrived at Portland International Airport at around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon and was met by a swarm of media, fans, and passengers who were trying to figure out what all the fuss was about.
Oden was accompanied by his mom and agent Mike Conley, Sr. and was greeted by Portland’s top two picks in last year’s NBA Draft, LaMarcus Aldridge and Brandon Roy.
“I want to interview those guys,” joked Oden upon seeing Aldridge and Roy. “I’m walking up here star struck right now.”
Oden, who admitted to being a little overwhelmed by his PDX reception, asked Roy if it’s always like this at PDX? Roy laughed, “For you it is.”
“It would be amazing,” Oden replied when asked about the prospects of playing with Aldridge and Roy, the NBA Rookie of the Year. “I’ve seen these guys play before and I’m honored to be standing next to them right now."
Oden’s much-anticipated pre-draft workout for the Trail Blazers is slated for Wednesday morning at the team's practice facility in Tualatin.
The Ohio State star, along with University of Texas sensation Kevin Durant, are expected to be the top two picks in the NBA Draft on June 28. Portland holds the top pick in this year’s draft.
Durant, who will arrive in Portland on Thursday, will workout for the Trail Blazers on Friday.

I think next year one of the most exciting and upcoming teams will be the Portland Trailblazers. This team is meant to destroy the competition in the Western Conference no more lame super offense lets Bring back defense in the West.
Portland Basketballlllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
I expect you to be a great Giant killer in many more years to come in the Western Conference, Next season once Greg Oden wears that Trailblazers Uniform i can visualize this team will be one of the elites and be a contender in the next 15 years.
GO PORTLAND you time has come to dismantle the old teams in the West.
Where did you get that sh!t from? Your @rse semes like a logical location.
I just put Lewis their because i expect that he will be traded for the service of Zach Randolph if the Blazers pick Oden. It would be a logical if the scenario that i am thinking came true.

Might as well change your name to Glove. "Jumping to conclusions." If it was a real game and not just a joke o nOffice Space, you'd be damn good at it.
I love this kid. Lol, I'm only 6 months older than Oden, that is weird to me. I really hope we pick him. I don't even care about the Durant work out, he can't match Odens personality. I had no idea Oden was such a down to earth cool guy since Ohio is not exactly a team Oregon gets to see on tv a lot.
I like that fact that Oden said he is starting to get attached to the city. Everyone that comes to Portland loves it. Oden deserves to be picked number 1, he is a real winner.

Logic doesn't make it so Lebron23. KP already said he is not shopping Randolf, and revealed he has faith in Randolf's abilities. He is staying. We can't just keep adding these pieces to the mix. We know how Randolf plays, and know where he'll fit in. It's better just to let Oden get here and focus on him meshing with the team.

Well having Aldridge and Oden in the same team is enough for Portland to have a good frontline. RIP City needs a Shooting Forward like Lewis whom they can get in a 1 on 1 trade with Z-BO, Seattle GM are not dumb enough to let Lewis go with out any outside gains. So resigning Lewis and them package deal him with Portland to Get Zach will be a huge move for their franchise.
Portland will have this starting 5
C- Oden
F- Aldridge
F- Lewis
G- Roy
G- Jack
Sounds good to me
Seattle 5
C- Johan Petro
F- Randolph
F- Durant
G- Allen
G- Ridnour

There is only one player in the league that I wish the Blazers could get there hands on and that's Loul Deng. Other than that I would keep Randolf, I don't think he is going to have a problem fitting in this year. If he is then and only then will we consider trading him in my opinion.

I think the Portland Trailblazers are seaching for a new identify nearly 1/2 of the Jailblazers are out of their lineup. I think if Zach cause some interior problem to the organization i think he needs to go. Zach is a great player Imo but sometime his off court attitude will affect the organization who is moving forward to a brighter future.
Well sometimes I just think that maybe he just has a dumb brain. He doesn't seem like the smartest guy, and I think he is growing up a bit. I find it odd people call them the jailblazers when none of the so called jailblazers never went to jail.
Hell, Kobe actually was brought down to a station and interrogated for rape and yet and 81 points game changes all of that. I'm getting way off point but Blazers are so far above being called the jailblazers it's a bit ridiculous at this point.
We need to get rid of Lafrentz too, and I'm pretty sure we are trying to get Darius Miles to retire to save us cap space. I wish we could dump those players on the Sonics.

Well getting rid of Lafrenz and Miles so that this team can at least sign some Shooters in the Free Agent Pool would work wonders.
I say if the are able to get rid of their fatty contract sign a guy like Jason Kapono so that it can help in your teams 3 pts. shooting.

I'm pretty sure Miami is keeping that guy. I think Kapono is kind of a lame player too. Rashard Lewis sounds much better. I think if we dumped those two Rashard could sign with Portland and we could keep Randolf.
Maybe it's just me but I'm still hoping for Oden in Seattle/Durant in Portland, not because I'm a fan of either team, but because it just seems like a better fit for both guys, and I would love to watch those 2 teams play.
The blazers should keep Randolph to help Oden develop a good post game.
Zach is one of the league's best post players and Oden should benefit from this.

i agree... low-post defence + low-post defence = domination... plus Oden can develop his not so polished offensive game from Z-Bo... maybe keep him for one season and see how it goes...
