Default Lopez, Blatche may start playing more together

Brooklyn Nets interim coach P.J. Carlesimo intends to tighten his team’s rotation, but wouldn’t divulge exactly how he’s going to do so.

One thing Carlesimo does want to try to do is play centers Brook Lopez and Andray Blatche together more.

“It’s something that I’d like to look at more, but there’s more teaching. … It’ll probably fall on Dray at the 4 spot,” Carlesimo said of Blatche playing power forward alongside Lopez. “The 4 spot is not that different. It’s not different than the 5 spot in a lot of the things we do. In some things we do it is different, like out of bounds [situations].

Wont really change much, but glad PJ is experimenting other possible lineups. The Nets aint competing anything for this season anyway, so its better to prepare for the near future.

P.J. keeps saying he'll try something new but ends up not doing anything. Maybe he keeps his word this time.

Nets were just fine with Lopez starting and Blatche coming off the bench. Then they started ****ing with the rotation. Having two huge slow guys who are both good in post and both suspect defensively helps how?

Lopez with Hump starting, then switch to Evans and Blatche. Let Evans and Blatche get more minutes if starters suck. Let Lopez finish with whichever four is playing better.

Only downside to this is we wouldn't have a backup center, but managing the minutes with good timing shouldn't be a problem. Blatche's true position is PF anyway so might as well utilize his talent this way. Don't know how he and Brook would mesh long term but their size should definitely help. I thought Reggie starting was a right move until I saw how much of a liability he was on offense, and while Hump is a beast the man got t-rex arms which makes him look helpless at times.
