human stupidity, why is hakeem below kobe on ish all time list
Since the stats are discussed so many times , I will use finals to prove that hakeem is above kobe on all time list
Hakeem : 3 final appearances , 2 rings
Kobe : 7 final appearances , 5 rings
which player achieved better? the answer is hakeem
let's see what team kobe faced in the finals,
pacers , nets , kings, magic , lost to PISTONS which barely had a GOAT 100 player
On the other hand, hakeem had to fight through teams with enormous talents. the GOAT team 86 celtics, patrick ewing, penny and shaq... etc
ish posters' act of putting kobe above hakeem is like putting dolph schayes above wilt chamberlai, pathetic.

id i had to choose betwee hakeem and kobe, i'd take hakeem 11 times out of 10. replace kobe with hakeem in current lakers and they'd still be great (or at least doing a lot better) even if dwight gets sidelined half the season.

Kobe is neither a top 10 player of all time, nor a top 10 player today. Hes a good player, just getting overrated by stans. Too bad theres no way to prevent stans from voting.

Kobe is ahead if we are talking about awards/achievements/etc.
But he was never a better player.
If the top 10 list was referring to players primes and not their full body of work, Hakeem would always be over Kobe. I mean the man won two Finals with mostly just role players. Who was the 2nd best player on the 94 Rockets? Otis Thorpe? Vernon Maxwell? Not bad players at all, especially Thorpe who had an underrated career. But that those teams were far from stacked.

Kobe has compiled some amazing career stats, but he wasn't the player that Hakeem was in terms of ability or impact.
That is my biggest criticism of Kobe. His impact compared to the rest of the all-time greats is weak. He doesn't make players better and he has no Finals memories aside from maybe that game 4 in Indiana. And relax Kobe/Laker fans, Lebron needs to improve in that area also, so relax and don't change the subject. I mean look at the 04-05 Heat. Shaq goes to Miami and turns them into a Finals contender. Kobe with Caron Butler and Lamar Odom can't even make the playoffs. Kobe has some great, great regular season moments. But nothing he does really sticks out in the postseason. When I think of the Lakers title wins, I remember Shaq domianting, Fisher and Horry nailing big shots. Especially Fisher in 2009 and 2010. And Gasol/Artest carrying the team in the 4th quarter of 2010 Finals.
