Default Wolves coaching

Don't know what they told Pekovic tonight but he went from just a body on the court in that first quarter...... to the bench for a rest.... to completely taking over the game.

That 3rd quarter he just shut down Denver and scoring at will. Nuggets center Koufos with 5 fouls, miserably unable to stop Pek's 20 10 and paint domination.

But more, the coaches have got the whole team firing on all cylinders.

The big excitement in Minny is return of Rubio but this coaching crew is mighty fine

Agree, even without Rubio is a pretty decent team, and deep. But with a healthy Rubio they can step up and reach another level. And the most important, Ricky is delightfull to watch.

I was gonna create an AK47 appreciation thread but I decided to post my manlove on it here. Dude is perfect for this team. Probably my fav player at the moment.

Not sure why Pek hasn't played more minutes though. He has destroyed the Nuggets in limited playing time.

AK47 with the slam to seal the game.

They were steadily talking right in Pekovic's ear over on the bench that whole game. My view they are crash coursing 14 on defense because his rotations are improving at exponential rate this season. Remember just a couple games back he shut down Varejao like nothing

People probly gonna be saying K Love had a poor game but fact is he had a fine performance against a just on-fire Faried.

But yeah Pekovic & AK47 just wasted Denver tonight.

Very good coaching, as opposed to a lot of what Karl does, it seems.

Incidentally, Ty Lawson is absolutely toxic at the end of games. He's the anti-clutch.

Lawson is real strong tho. I hear you as far as disappointment maybe. But to me he's way underrated by a lot of people... his drives are quicksilver
