Cornerback Log 2012-2013 edition.
I will be doing Morris Claiborne, Vontea Davis & Champ Bailey this year. I am confident I will be able to watch all of their games this year, which is a huge reason why I chose these players.
*Will not be counting passes that are completed behind the line of scrimmage.
*Will not be counting screen passes.
Morris Claiborne

If GoBB or some other Philly fan wants to keep track of Aso, please do it.
I am very interested in how he does, but I will not be able to watch all the Eagle games.

Thought you were doing Haden? Did his suspension kill that idea? You should still do it. He deserves more exposure.

His suspension has some to do with it, but for the most part it came down to not being able to catch all their games.

pointless to separate it into zone and m2m...it is literally impossible to tell the difference sometimes, esp when a CB presses at the LOS...could be a zone press or man press and you would never know the difference...they look identical.

hmmm, I'm a Jets fan so I can try to keep track of Revis if you'd like...what format are you using for reporting results?
also, is it true that Woodson will be playing safety full time this season?

no you won't, you'll just end up marking it as m2m by default if they press like you did last year...making it seem as though they are in man 90% of the time
the only way you can really know is by asking them...no one really knew Nnamdi played 100% m2m in Oakland until the coaches and himself said so.
this is why you don't see any other stat site on the internet trying to separate those into zone/m2m...because you can't

3 targets, all in man coverage....2 completions for 17 yards in first half.
Not bad considering the competition. Actually pretty impressive.

Re: Cornerback Log 2012-2013 edition.
Claiborne is looking pretty good against elite competition. Then again, he's had a lot of help from his defensive line throwing the Giants out of rhythm and some good scheming by Ryan. Still, impressive start to his career thus far.
With Nicks, it could change in a heartbeat. Stay tuned.
