Why didn't Ty Lawson go higher in the draft?
I think he went #18 pick?

Everyone thought he was undersized also had an injury in college I think that concerned teams.

Teams better not make the same mistake with Kemba Walker. A small guy, but a fierce competitor and loads of talent.

Most people felt that UNC team was overrated. And he got punished for staying 4 years.

Re: Why didn't Ty Lawson go higher in the draft?
He had a major back (i think) injury in college which lowered his stock. His size has to do with him being lower too.

I'm reading some of his draftexpress reports and they're hyping him like the best pg in college bball. I don't watch college bball btw.

he's basically Mario Chalmers in college. He was great but not sure if it could translate in pro basketball. He's one of those wild card players

Bledsoe and Holiday both went low(ish) because they both played off the ball their one year in college.

Re: Why didn't Ty Lawson go higher in the draft?
It's hilarious that the Wolves drafted 3 PG's in the draft, and the only one who looks primed to be an NBA star is the one they traded away...
Johnny Flynn has been garbage, and Ricky Rubio isn't even in the league. Good job Minnesota.
