Can anyone tell me how the Adidas Nations camp thing work?

I remember my cousin's cousin was selected to join and he's now sponsored by Adidas, just like his uncle, who's a local big time coach. Well, the program supposedly gets the cream of the crop of every region's high school basketball stars. Now, I know I'm probably not even in the Top 1000 of my country, but can someone please explain to me how this works? Like how they are selected and stuff? And if it helps that I wear nothing but Three Stripes on my feet? ( A joke, but still )
