Default Jared Sullinger 2010 Naismith Award Winner

Jared Sullinger of Columbus Northland has been named the Naismith Player of the Year for 2010. Here's a video mix of his high school highlights for anyone interested in watching him play.

Sullinger blows. He scored 3 points against Oak Hill. It's all about Perry Jones.

Oh man not this kid again

Did you even see the game? I'd love to see you score more than 3 points when your get doubled constantly and sometimes even tripled. Also he had 16 boards and made his free throws clutch. Sure Perry Jones is good but players don't win national player of the year if they "blow"

If you can run the floor, take it coast to coast, pop out to the perimeter, or even score from the elbow you can't be doubled, all things Sullinger currently can't do. He's purely a low block scorer, which is fine when you are a giant among little pre-pubescent high school boys, but it won't get it done at the next level. He could become a Zach Randolph at best. I doubt it. Perry Jones is a marvelous Kevin Durant-type talent, he has a higher ceiling.

Um, being another Zach Randolph would be awesome. That's a far cry from "blows." Randolph's the best low-post scorer maybe on the planet.

What "blows" is the logic in judging a guy by his worst game, when the defense used almost all of their resources to take away his offense.

Zach Randolph in college was the man.

If anyone cares the Team USA with HS'ers like B.Knight, J.Sullinger are playing right now.

i watched him before nobody can guard him. he is a beast. However he did most of his work because he was so much bigger and stronger than everbody else 6'9 270lbs. In college he should do well, but guys like that get exposed in the NBA level especially if they don't have a legit post game.

see Greg Oden.
