Nash wants out. The team has gone into one-on-one chuck mode. It's really sad to watch.

Josh Howard is still a very important part of this team. They will need him if they want to do anything this season. The Suns are just playing like complete ass right now.

Dirk is lights out, shooting 80%.

So when will the Mavs collapse, I reckon midway through the 4th.

They need to just swarm Dirk and hack him to death while sticking Bell on Terry and hope he hits a cold spell.

Problem is they traded away Marion and really have nobody that bothers Dirk all that much.

TNT, forever down on Dallas. Oh well.

The Mavs are like Tottenham Hotspur, they always find a way to f*ck things up.

*Waits for lilmarcgasol*

You know what though, I think the Jet and Dirk will end the game completely in the third.

The loss of D'antoni clearly shows that a good coach deserves to get paid a lot. Also, I remember when Sarver let Colangelo go rather than offer him money. He saved a couple million dollars with the GM job, but he lost millions more in doling out bad contracts. A good GM or coach is as valuable as the franchise player and sometimes more valuable. Some owners are just stupid to not realize that.

They've played pretty solid without him. I think they should seriously start looking at some trade options for him. He's important but lets see if we can get someone legit for him (that comes off the books in 2010 )

Dallas has won all those games against a bunch of mediocre at best teams. Even the Suns have been playing poorly of late so I don't think you can take too much from this game.

and Howard already comes off the book in 2010 if the Mavs don't use their team option on him.

I like what Carlise has been doing. It think he can integrate Howard much better when he gets back. You also have to remember, Terry is streaky. He will stop hitting his shots for several stretches this season and the Mavs will absolutely need Howard there to pick up the scoring slack.

GMs are very valuable. Coaches are more or less the same, except for the few guys who have to control every minute detail of the game, which usually hurt their teams.
