switching players for nba2k10 ps3

Hi all I am new to this site. I have been trying to switch players during game play, but it seems as though i can only control ron artest unless he is being substituted out. When he is out, I am able to switch to whatever player i want by holding down R1 and the button that appears above the players head. I am playing association mode and would be very thankful for any advice/help. Also in the 1rst quarter Paul Gasol shot the ball full court 3 times as soon as he got the pass from out of bounds. BTW I am playing NBA2K10 on PS3. please help, i am tired of only being able to control ron artest.

I forget where it is but theres a thing in the pause menu where you can choose what position to lock on. Sometimes after playing My Player mode, it locks on automatically and you have to reset it. Look around in the options menus.

It's tough to find... can't remember off the top of my head.


I know you have to go to an in-game options menu, then press TRIANGLE to bring up a hidden menu...

it's pretty ridiculous.

yeah, there is a menu to change the position lock thing
it's in controller setup (or something)
