His longevity is still a big question as of now but hopefully, he wouldn't be injured all of a sudden anymore.

I may be very wrong on this long-term, but I think Chet actually has LESS injury risk than most bigs. He's not a stiff, and carrying less weight means less impact on his knees and feet. 30lbs of muscle makes a fall hurt more, not less.

This is a shitty way to think about hoops.

I guess being between skinny and beefy is most ideal for his frame, should he be effective on the floor while not being vulnerable to injuries at the same time.

I think it kinda goes both ways.
Skinnier guys should be less prone to stress injuries, but because they have less bulk in their joints and tendons they may also be more prone to dislocations and breaks and such.
I think ideal injury prevention is to have a good mass while minimizing stress (playing below the rim, running with efficient technique etc).

I think that this doesn't get talked about enough when we look at prospects. How do they fall? Do they play recklessly? Some guys play in a way that is going to increase injury risk by a LOT.
I spent a lot of time watching John Wall play, and I was always blown away by the number of hard falls that guy took.
