LeBron's longevity is so great he has ImKobe thinking they played in different eras.

And why would I be mad? I want the Lakers to make the POs.
I thought Kuz was flourishing though?

Do I really have to explain this every single time? 96-04 that's 8 out of his 17 pre-achilles seasons and 4 out of 7 finals...

Still under different rules which impacts the averages, moron. And if you go 01-04, that's still 4 Playoff runs and 4 prime seasons in a much different era. Bran's Finals averages weren't great from 07-14 either. I wonder what changed.

Indeed. Kobe was only 25 years old when LeBron entered the league. It's bizarre to pretend LeBron's numbers are a product of the era when he was handily outproducing Kobe even when their careers overlapped (2004-2016). And if we pretend it's been a different league post-2016 due to GS popularizing the 3 and small ball, LeBron's career even till 2016 would at worst make him one of the 3 most statistically dominant players ever. Kobe wasn't anywhere close to that level.

LeBron played in 2004
And his 2012 finals was easily better than any of Kobe's.

stats being inflated doesn’t matter much when no one else has been this good at lebrons age or into year 20. Saw this on Reddit, lebron has 9 30 point games this year. Before him, there were 7 combined 6 of which were from kobe from guys in year 20 or later. Kareem is the only other guy in history who was a top 15-20 player at 38 and that was his last year at that level
