Andrew Gaze was a freaking beast. I just laugh my ass off at all the NBA only fan morons that say guys like Longley and Bogut are the best Australian players, or even someone like Mills.........

Gaze was best Australian player EASILY.

Re: Andrew Gaze - Australias BEST EVER

He was by FAR, the best basketballer Australia has EVER produced.

MVP 7 times,
Named top 50 FIBA players of all-time
Won a ring with the Spurs in 1999

I think he loved playing in Australia, playing at home for his Tigers - otherwise i think he could have had a longer stint in the NBA - I don't think that was a priority to him...

Totally agree.

Shane Heal is not far behind him either.

Yep I agree. As much as it killed me being a bris bullets fan.Tho, Leroy was right up there .Even tho Bogut has done more in the NBA.Gazes contribution on the local and international scene more than makes up for this.
