NFL MVP & DMVP Rankings.
 

MVP:

1. Peyton Manning - Going for his 5th MVP award
2 Peterson - Can't deny his greatness. He has made it close enough while playing his best for last to make this a tight race.
3. Aaron Rodgers - Elite stats, if Packers get first round bye he will get some votes
4. Tom Brady - Not finishing the year strong.
5. JJ Watt - A consistent force week in and week out. Clear cut DMVP to me.


Honorable Mention - Matt Ryan, RG3, Von Miller, Russell Wilson, Calvin Johnson, Drew Brees




DMVP:

1. JJ Watt - Having an all-time great season so far. I can't remember the last time I've seen somebody be more dominant.
2. Von Miller - His work against the run and pass is equally impressive.
3. Geno Atkins - The most disruptive pass rushing DT in the league.
4. Aldon Smith - Can't ignore his progression as more than just a pass rusher...though pass rushing alone he'd be worthy of this spot.
5. Patrick Willis - the prototype ILB, he really is this generations Ray Lewis on the field.

Honorable Mention: Richard Shurman, Cameron Wake, Ware

Not gonna do MVP because at the end of the day it's gonna be the best quarterback of the season.

DMVP
1. JJ Watt - UNSTOPPABLE, that's all I gotta say.
8 tackles, 5 stops, 3 sacks, 2 QB hits, 4 QB hurries, and FIVE batted passes with 2 of them leading to INTs. He's the best 3-4 defensive end as far as I'm concerned. Only thing that's stopping him from being #1 is the lack of track record that Justin Smith and Haloti Ngata have.

2. Clay Matthews
3. D'Quell Jackson
4. Navorro Bowman
5. Patrick Peterson - Might be unpopular but he hasn't given up a catch in 8 quarters of football IIRC.

it will be the best player on the best team...that is usually a QB but doesn't have to be the "best" QB

the team with the best record will also have the NFL MVP

so far I could actually see that happening...yes

if 49ers go something like 14-2 or higher and have the best record in the NFL then I do think it would be Alex...even though that D is where the real cred would be due

I wouldn't say finally, at the 2nd half of last season coming frm injury he had a 200 yard game against the bills complete obilteration a few rape allegations and ended the last month/4games with 100+ rushing yards each game. He's streaking and his swagger is carrying over this season. He would of had 100 yards in rushing against houston but tannehill throwing 3 consecutive tipped interceptions forced us just to pass and pretty much gave no touches to reggie in the entire 2nd QTR but before that disaster happened he was raping texans D and ended the game 5 ypc on one of the best defenses. He said in the offseason he wants to be the leading rusher in the NFL and that may be a reach but if Reggie can stay healthy it can be a reality or at least a top 5 RB :bowdown:

and of course the real best 3-4 DE in the NFL Calais Campbell has a monster 2 sack game and continues to never get noticed by anyone and is lost behind names Nagta and Watt and J.Smith...

wtf does this guy have to do to get noticed...
