DUNLEAVY STEPPING UP: Mike Dunlevy has showcased his all-around game in
helping the Warriors win the first two games of their current four-game
roadtrip...Overall in the last two games, Mike D. is averaging 17.5
points, 11.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.00 steals in 30.0 minutes, while
shooting 60.9% (14-23 FG) from the field and 60.0% (6-10 3FG) from long
range...On 11/17 at Atlanta, Mike pulled down a career-high-tying 14
rebounds while hitting on a career-high five three-pointers (5-6 3FG) en
route to 25 points.
PLAYING BIG IN THE BIG APPLE: Golden State's 104-86 victory at New York
on 12/16 finished off a season-sweep of the two-game series with the
Knicks...Coupled with last season's two-game set also, the Warriors have
now swept the Knicks in consecutive season for the first time in franchise
history (including Philadelphia era)...The Warriors have also won
three-straight games at Madison Square Garden, marking their longest
winning streak in New York since the league went to a home-and-home
schedule for the West vs. East match-ups.
LIFE ON THE ROAD: Golden State is currently 3-2 (3-1 on road, 0-1 at home)
during a stretch in which they will play 12 of 16 games on the
road...Golden State is 2-0 on its current four-game roadtrip and will play
8 of its next 11 away from The Arena in Oakland...The Warriors return home
for Christmas for home games vs. the L.A. Lakers (12/23) and the
Sacramento Kings (12/26).
