The Toronto Raptors announced Monday that Craig Neal, Walker D. Russell and Randy Wilkens are not being retained as members of the team’s scouting staff. Norm Goodman, Jim Kelly, Steve Young and Bob Zuffelato remain with the staff.

“We appreciate the work Craig, Walker and Randy have done for our franchise over the years and their professional assistance with this year’s draft during this interim period,” said Rob Babcock, who was named the third general manager in team history June 7.

“Scouting is the lifeblood of basketball operations,” added Babcock. “We will be announcing new appointments to our staff and exploring new areas of deployment, including a more active involvement in the important overseas marketplace.”
