Charlotte Bobcats small forward Adam Morrison averaged 11.8 points per game as a rookie in 2006-07, didn't play last year, and is getting used to being back on the court in the early part of the new season. One big change is formerly famous long hair was now buzzed off; he almost looks like a totally different person. InsideHoops.com editor Jeff Lenchiner met with Morrison in Madison Square Garden Wednesday night for an exclusive interview.

InsideHoops.com: Talk about getting rid of the hair. The long hair was something everyone associated with you, and you ditched it.

Adam Morrison: Honestly, I just decided to cut it. There's nothing really much else to it. Just kind of got sick of it. You guys saw it as going past my name on the back of my jersey. I decided to cut it and go back to my freshman year.

InsideHoops.com: Was that when it started, your college freshman year?

Adam Morrison: Yeah, basically. I didn't cut it for probably two and a half years. I had it going for a while, and it just got old.

InsideHoops.com: How has life changed for you since the big cut?

Adam Morrison: It's a lot colder. I get double-takes sometimes. And then sometimes I don't get recognized, which I don't mind at all.

InsideHoops.com: Have fans said stuff, like fans near the court during shootarounds, and elsewhere?

Adam Morrison: Yeah, like when I'm signing autographs, 'where'd the hair go?' and all that stuff.

InsideHoops.com: You and Shannon Brown just had some betting fun, on a coin flip. Do you guys do that regularly?

Adam Morrison: Yeah. We usually just shoot, joking around, $20 or so. Having fun there.

InsideHoops.com: Do anything fun this summer?

Adam Morrison: Not really. I was just in Charlotte the whole time, just rehabbing. I had a long summer... Just trying to keep my nose to the grindstone.

InsideHoops.com: I know you love video games. Do you play PS3 or XBox 360?

Adam Morrison: XBox all the way, nonstop.

InsideHoops.com: Have you played both systems and just liked XBox more, or just always been with it?

Adam Morrison: XBox live, I've always been a fan of. So I've always stuck with XBox.

InsideHoops.com: What games are you playing these days?

Adam Morrison: FIFA [soccer]. That's the only game I really play. I was always into Call of Duty and waiting for the new one... and I love my Premier League soccer, so I just play FIFA. That's the funnest game, I think.
