The InsideHoops.com 2005 NBA Mock Draft is the consensus opinion of several league sources, scouts and experts.
2005 NBA Mock Draft Notes (June 8, 2005): Chris Paul could go #2 instead of #4, in which case Marvin Williams would go #3. But, we doubt this will happen. It's extremely likely that the first two picks will be Andrew Bogut and Marvin Williams.
Our NBA mock draft has Gerald Geren going pretty high, because the Blazers don't need a point guard. It would not be surprising to see them trade down a few spots, grab Green a bit lower, and perhaps pick up some cash, future considerations or a decent 10th man in the process.
InsideHoops.com has Sean May going a bit higher than many scouts do. The popular opinion from team people has him going a bit lower. As of June 8, at least.
Fran Vazquez is the most NBA-ready of the international players. Martynas Andriuskevicius is a project. Tiaglo Splitter is less of a project than Martynas, but if he entered the NBA today, he'd be a 7th or 8th man. He also may have buyout issues. InsideHoops.com hasn't looked into buyout stuff yet. We're more focused on presenting a proper draft look.
Players that moved up the most in the last month have been Channing Frye, Danny Granger and Antoine Wright. Frye, especially. His move was major. Granger and Wright were always considered first rounders as far as we remember, but have inched their way up. They both could go lottery.
We are updating this every other day or so, up through the draft.
