Los Angeles Clippers guard Marko Jaric, who has been out of action, on Friday was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right foot. Jaric underwent a second MRI yesterday which revealed the fracture. Jaric had missed the last four games with what had been originally diagnosed as a sprained right foot.
He is expected to miss at least four weeks of action.
This season, Jaric has played in 23 games and has averaged 11.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.91 steals per game. Up through games of December 30, his averages place him 13th best in the NBA in assists per game and 14th best in steals per game.
