Troy HudsonMinnesota Timberwolves guard Troy Hudson has recently not been pleased with his role on the team. His agent was quoted as saying -- and this is a paraphrase -- that if the Wolves aren't going to use Hudson properly, perhaps they should trade him. InsideHoops.com editor Jeff Lenchiner met with Hudson in Madison Square Garden on Wednesday for an exclusive interview.

InsideHoops.com: You're a terrific guard, and lately you haven't had the role you want on this team. Clear the air, what's up?

Troy Hudson: I have no idea what's going on. I just have to wait and be patient for them to make any decision that they're going to make. In this business, this is the thing that you can't control. You just have to wait and be patient. And they handle the business part of it; let them handle it.

InsideHoops.com: Has anyone said anything to you in particular about you and the team?

Troy Hudson: Naw. Like I said, I don't know what's going on, so the only thing I can do is wait patiently.

InsideHoops.com: Your agent was quoted just a day or so ago saying something to the effect of, if you're not going to get more minutes then...

Troy Hudson: It's not about minutes. It's not even about that.

InsideHoops.com: What's it about?

Troy Hudson: It's a whole other level other than that. But like I said, I'm past that and just waiting for them to make that decision.

InsideHoops.com: Is it a role thing, or...

Troy Hudson: At this point I stop thinking about it, because when you think about it you only get more frustrated and that only leads to more problems, so like I said, just sitting back patiently waiting on them.

InsideHoops.com: Okay, so in an ideal world for you, the ideal Hudson world, what would make you happy?

Troy Hudson: Just for me to be happy. I don't know what that is, I mean, I just want to contribute to the success of the team. I don't want to play 38 minutes and we're losing. If I play 10 strong minutes where I was a contributor and we win, that's cool.
