Iverson's style fits with defensive minded players like Mutombo, Eric Snow, Tyrone Hill ect. he led that team to 56 wins and the finals so obviously he can fit with other players.

As far as the Nuggets and Carmelo well Iverson led the team to 50 wins as the teams best player in a very tough Western Conference so I don't see anything wrong with that.

Depends on what you mean by fit? He seems to kind of fit with Melo, but the team needs more defense besides Camby for the Nuggets to be successful.

The problem with his game is that he really doesnt elevate other players games. He gets assists, but he not a passer. And he neeeds the ball to be effective. This has always been a problem with him. In the sixers finals run, he had a great balance of role players, but that team today wouldnt get to the finals in the east.

The playoffs undid any positives from Denver's season up to that point. Iverson and Melo's chemistry in the playoffs was downright awful, as was the whole teams'.

I see it as a problem. AI is not their best player. Melo should be leading their team. AI should be his running mate. But because he demands the ball so much, it takes away from Melo truly being at his best

Which had nothing to do with Iverson himself. He put up good numbers in the playoffs, it wasn't his fault the team was flawed to begin with. The problems start from the coaching staff (George Karl is a dumbass) and trickle down to the players.

You're a troll, eat sh*t.

i think the one STAR iverson would work well with is KG. KG seems to be the biggest star who's the most unselfish & willing to be the 2nd option.

i still wonder what the league wuold look like if mchale agreed to give away foye in the shouldve been deal w/philly for AI. wonder if minny woulda won a title yet. who woulda won this year?

i still say AI & KG would fit perffect for each other

Iverson was the one keeping them in the games in the playoffs. Whatever happened to Denver, it wasnt his fault. If you want to point the finger at someone, point it at Melo.

I agree completely.

Add some good defensive minded role players around them and they could win the Chip.

He only fits with people who will accept being a roleplayer or are unselfish. Spot up shooters, finishers, defenders, off the ball movers, rebounders, cutters, etc.

As stated in previous comments, KG would be a perfect complimentary player to AI.
