Haywood tries even a quarter as hard on the defensive glass as he does on offense and we're are up by 20 at the very least.
Other than the rebounding though, we're playing amazing defensively. All shots contested, good rotations to the shooters, Brendan's playing the pick and roll well. Hell, even Mason has had some great defensive possessions.
He didn't even say anything, I have no idea why they called it.
Wiz rotations are brutal right now. The only reason they aren't down at this point is all the missed open shots by the Pistons. Haywood, Jamison, and Mason have all looked really lost on a ton of possessions.
Stuckey's just ruining it for the Pistons. Why does Flip even have him in the game? Get Lindsey Hunter in there for defense instead.
If the Pistons are to have any chance at post season success guys like Stuckey need to be developed… better to loose and learn in a game like this rather than to be thrown into a playoff situation with lack of knowledge or to rely too much on veteran players…
Flip REALLY needs to change the line up for the final stretch of the season…
Start Amir and bring McDyess off the bench…
Pistons don't have a chance to win the East. They can't even get calls against the Wizards. Wait until they face Bron or the Celtics. That's an underrated factor when predicting conf. finals. NBA sure as heck wants the Cavaliers or Celtics in the finals.
Wizards are the lightest play-off darkhorse ever. Through all the injuries their young and bench players all received valuable playing time and when Arenas returns (and decides he at least wants to try defense) I´ll pick them to upset the Cavs.*
*Pick comes without five steps for Bron in 4th quarter.
