it's because Barkley is on tnt. combined with Duncan being, first of all, a center, and second of all, a player whose career is not complete. at least they didn't give it to Malone.

I find it more questionable that 1 out of 100 voters actually came up with Bob Pettit. probably the 90+ section of the population. sheesh. haven't watched a game since 1972 or something like that...

Good thing popularity contests rarely decide anything. Except all-stars.

duncan also performs for his size, barkley is or was at one point 6-4, and a power forward, that's NOT an easy task to play.

6-4 is reserved for the PG and SG spots, SG's are usually taller nowadays anyway. However, i never saw enouh of barkley to compare against what ive seen of duncan(8-9 years now) so my opinion is a bit skewed.

That's not even the biggest mistake, Bob "I hate Cleo Hill" Pettit got 1% of the votes and under Kev McHale at that.

McHale with 3%
He had possibly the most unstoppable low post game ever, that guy was created to play the low block, I have never seen another combination of wingspan and footwork like it!
