Love that pass, went straight to Mike Gminiski for the easy layup.
great video! barkleys pass was awesome but peja beats it just due to distance on the other hand number three is seeming like its better than peja's because of the incredible english on it when it hits the floor and the quickness, he had eye contact the entire time though
Great thread, pejas pass is ridiculous. I personally love the long outlet passes for difficulty. I think those passes are harder to pull of then a fancy behind the back pass from a closer distant. This is one thing I absolutely loved about shaq in his LA years his ability to hit that long outlet right on the money to a running kobe.Damm almost brings a tear to my eye.
As usual: Take 10 of the most famous passes ever and here's your top-10 ever... Honestly, if we compiled a real top-10 of passes, blocks, baskets, etc, it would mostly include passes never or rarely seen on film. And some of them made by no-named players, which would actually be mildly annoying to a casual fan.
Look at the play #2 here. I'll take this pass over anyone of these supposed "top-10 ever":
1999-2000 had to be one of the best seasons I can remember. You had the best season ever by center when Shaq led the Lakers to 67 wins, won Finals MVP averaging 38.0 ppg, 16.7 rpg, 2.7 bpg and shooting 61%, winning the all star MVP throwing down a 360 dunk in that game, winning the scoring title, finishing second in rebounds and 3rd in blocks. You had that Suns team with Kidd and Penny Hardaway who was still not that far removed from his prime, you had Jason Williams who was one of the flashiest point guards ever, Vince Carter's performance in the dunk contest, that epic Blazers vs Lakers series, that up and coming Sacramento team with Webber and Vlade...it just goes on and on. A great year for basketball.
