Don't be mad at the referee, it was a well-officiated game. It was Jermaine O'Neal's fault for crashing into Kobe Bryant, and crashing MJ's party. But at the same time, Kobe missed 1 of 3 free-throws, he could have sealed that game in regulation itself, but missed. But the halftime celebration at that game was amazing. Overall, the 2003 All-Star weekend was my favorite of recent memory.

The REFEREE should of had a sense of the MOMENT and not call a foul on a guy fading out of bounds double clutching...They walked off the court 4 Magic and MJs moment was the game-winner not a 30 pt blowout....

that's relevant 5 years later HOW? Jermaine DID foul, the east DIDN'T win, and MJ was NOT MVP. There was no bad reffing. The better team won.
There are far more interesting "what if" scenarios than another one to artificially enhance MJ's legacy.

You didn't watch the game did you? EVERYONE was rooting for him. Fans were boeing the west closing mintues That would of put a nice staple on his comeback along with his 50 point games.

chill dude. who cares if its relevant or not. every1 has those what if situations in life.

also, no matter how intensely/accurately ppl analyze things on this forum, it is irrelevant to the outcome of all the nba games we'll watch. some times logic and reality are jes different. does that mean we should stop writing on this forum?

its jes opinions 'n trading comments

I did watch the game. Of course it would have been huge if it had been the game winner. But it wasn't. There is no reason to bring this up in a topic right now.
I mean, he could at least have provided a video to go along with the topic.

It's just a bad, superfluous topic that no one needs.

I'm glad the West won that year because KG deserved to win the MVP.
