Look, LeBron could've played better, but it was a team failure, coupled with the fact that they were playing a very good, veteran team who had "been there, done that." It is indeed disappointing, but every great athlete in their career has to face something like this during the course of their career. It's called "overcoming adversity"
funny how when lebron plays poorly it's a team failure, but when the cavs beat the pistons it's all lebron
Are you people so incapable of putting together sound arguments that you have no choice but to resort to personal yet baseless attacks? It's quite pathetic.
yes.
Max, you should always try to keep in mind the average age of this forum. Most are not yet mature enuf to engage of rational discourse... nor mature enough to allow their opinion or perspective to change without feeling they somehow got "ownnned"; thus, they resort to weak-minded defensive mechanisms.

cosign. the man choked like a pornstar. accept it people. Maybe if he ever gets the the finals again he'll step up and make everyone forget about his chokejob but the fact is choked.
lol at people getting defensive over Lebron's finals.
He choked like a pornstar. get over it and move on
How can a player choke in a series his team was expected to get demolished in in the first place? It's not as if the Cavs ever had a chance to win or where even close to making it a competitive series? Where is this "choked" foolishness coming from?
No... the Spurs were simply a better team and they were able to focus on Lebron and stifle him. Choking would be if Lebron and Co. had been favored to win the series and lost.
I hate people like you, who gives a **** if there a better team...

You hate logical people that present sound opinions?
Again, a player can only choke if he had a reasonable chance to win and, by some inadequacy in himself, cost his team the win. That wasn't even close to the case in last season's finals. Lebron didn't play well, but he certainly didn't choke.
Choking is when a highly favored team falls to a team of supposed 'lesser' personnel.
When it is an almost universal consensus that the Spurs are going to win a series in 4 or 5 games and they win it in 4, that is not a choke. If the Spurs would have LOST, that would have been a choke.
A choke is what Dallas did against Golden State. A choke is what Detroit did against Cleveland.
God, you're stupid.
muth****er ur stupid, he did choke u idiot.. he got swept one of the worst shooting performances ever and that just proves he has no jumper
a lot of you have the definition of choking twisted
choking isn't when you underperform when you're favored, it's when you underperform in the spotlight, regardless if you're favored or not. the finals is where the spotlight shines brightest in the NBA. when you're arguably the face of the league and you lay an egg like lebron did in the finals, it is choking. point blank. it doesn't matter if his team was the 10 point favorites or the 50 point underdogs, it's choking
Wade choke in the first round of the playoffs againts the Chicago Bulls, and this year his team is the worst team in the regular season despite having a much better supporting casts than Lebron, and the Heat have a certified HOF coach named Pat Riley.
That is the definition of choking because his team are expected to perform well in the playoffs because they are the depending NBA Champs, but get their ass got kick in the first round of the playoffs.
This season he is not only a glorified choker, but it also confirmed that Wade is the biggest loser in the history of the NBA.

Then every superstar in the history of the NBA has choked at one time or another. I see what you are saying, and yes, LeBron could've played much better, but the beauty of the game is coming back the next year and battling through the adversity. He's 23 years old--still very young. This hasn't been a trend for him.
