Default Eddy Curry is the biggest waste of talent ever

6'11, 285 with a 7'6 wingspan and great offensive skills with a soft touch. Unfortunately, all that gets you nowhere when your horrible at every other aspect of the game. I've never seen a Center so bad at the defensive end of the floor. How can a guy as big and long as Curry be so bad at rebounding? Just terrible.

And no, he's not going to get better people. This is what Eddy Curry is and always will be. He's not going to 'turn the corner' as everyone used to say about Kwame every season.

At least Odom can rebound and is a great passer. Curry does one thing well: score in the post.

Listen, I'm the biggest Knicks fan around here, and I love this Knicks team. But a change is need in the front office and in the locker room. Every die hard Knicks fan hates this group of players, I'd live with an 0-82 record, but if our team give %110 effort out there it'd be fine! Only our young guys do that and they don't ever get that damn playing time!

Not to mention he's extremely athletic. He never had a great coach. That was the problem. Just when he got a great coach in Larry Brown, the team decides they don't want to play for him.

Curry has a heart problem, it may be a reason why he is not in the best shape he could be, probably afraid that the workouts elite players go through to prepare for hte season might kill him.

Also, being big doesn't mean he has the intensity or work ethic, or elite athleticism to be great. He can score, but maybe his best spot would be as a backup 45 who comes in and scores in short spurts by feeding him the ball every time down.

He doesn't have good lateral quickness, quick leaping ability, natural rebounding and shotblocking timing, vision, hands, etc.

Much more than height and length or Bradley, Bol, etc. would of been great.

Derrick Coleman was IMO the biggest waste of talent, and guys ike kemp and Baker.
