Default So I was right about LeBron...

Well I made a thread half joking about LeBron making his MVP case by sitting out.

2 weeks later after he finally comes back we get Yahoo ready to declare him MVP because of how bad his team looked without him...

Quote:
all you had to see was what the Cavaliers looked like without him on the floor for 5˝ games. Without LeBron, the Cavs wouldn’t win the Big Ten. Seriously

You have to be kidding right? So a .500 team that stinks without it's star= MVP. Is that any different to say the Spurs who are a 60 win team with Duncan and are struggling to be .500 without him?

I'm convinced the media doesn't even care about the leagues credibility, they really need to change the voting process now.

Default Re: So I was right about LeBron...

Lebron's either a coward or his defense blows. He was guarding Antoine Wright while Carter was going off on the Cavs putting up a 32, 6, 7 statline.

Kobe always guards the oppositions best player. Why can't Lebron?

I hope Lebron James sign with a better team when he finally hit the free agent market.

I'm just ****in tired of Cleveland teams being medicore, where someone inevitably says (and rightfully so), "i hope player X leaves when he gets a chance."

Your a Cleveland fan and you want LeBron to go? Maybe you want the best for him, but surely that would be getting a sidekick in Cleveland for you?
And yes, LeBron is MVP calibre, but there's other players this year pushing for it.

ISH is getting more stupid and more stupid by the day.

LeBron = Best Player in the NBA in '07-08

Cavs w/o LeBron = lose to NJ, Wash, Det which are the same teams ISH said allowed the Cavs have so, so, so easy of a road to the Finals last year

Which one is it, ISH?

Either LeBron is clearly the Most Valuable Player in the history of baskteball (for single-handily taking his team to the Finals last season) by how his LeBron-less teammates played pathetically against those teams mentioned above.

or

The Cavs road to the Finals wasn't all that easy relative to the amount of overall talent on the Cavs roster

Which one, people?

I would normally expect a man-up answer, but this is ISH-- the place where anything LeBron does is undermined and unappreciated.

Typical thread.
