Salmons is also better than Bibby... but having the same position as Artest really kills his production.

Agreed. But you have to admit, he was a core aspect of the Kings for so many years that he merits consideration here. It's no question that he is a Kings legend and right now the Kings are better for not having him on the court.

Doesn't mean they get better. Matter of a fact, those 3 wins without Kobe were in the early of the season...when Odom, Walton, Brown, and Rad were healthy.

Washington isn't better cos Gil isn't there

- Stevenson and Haywood are just playing better period
- Daniels is healthy
- Caron is a legit Allstar now
- Jamison is healthy and playing his usual solid game
- The bench is better this year
- The Leastern Conference is even more brutal than last year (if that's possible lol)

Washington is a better TEAM without Gilbert Arenas. They however, become significantly worse as a GROUP without Arenas also.

Look. Past. The. Numbers.

Konex has it right. Sort of. He didn't mention the soft Wizards schedule, but did mention how poor the Eastern Conference is. You might notice that the Wiz happen to be playing a lot of teams at the bottom of the fishtank right now.

It's not about opponents and averages. It's about watching them perform as a team without Gilbert Arenas.

They simply do a better job. Instead of playing at a pace that suits Gilbert's goal (fast enough that the team shoots enough for himself and two other players to score at least 20) they place at a pace that improves the efficiency of the entire team.

did you read that SLAM or HOOP (can't remember) article where he talked about pushing the pace to keep jamison and butler (previously hughes) into the game by getting them lots of shots without sacrificing his own? the guy is nut, but he's an honest nut.

That's actually what I was referencing. Apparently just like me you can't remember which rag you read it in.

How are the Kings better for not having Bibby on the court? Are you serious? He was injured last year and was playing badly and this year he hasn't even played yet. Shame on you fake Kings fans to try and say Bibby is not the second or third best player on the team.

Martin, Artest/Bibby...

That's inconclusive. Iverson's history with the franchise has shown more sucess with him in the line-up than withoout him. His last two years were more coaching and player management. The Sixers could have amassed the same record last year, maybe slightly worse.

It's probably too early, but for now, I think Durant is a hinderance to the Sonics performance. He's still the future, but guys been to TO prone and trigger happy.

Looks like the Blazers can do well without Aldridge.

If teams do bad without one player, then they need a better roster IMO.

i think its more of a talent issue in their case with the young team they've had the past few years. i cant even see Kobe taking that team to 42+ wins.

You wouldn't say Roy right now is their best player?
