One of the better basketball forums (in my opinion) has been degraded to elementary school like cliques all taking sides trying to berate and belittle opposing sides. Basketball is not even discussed here anymore. What can we do to save this once witty, informative, and thought provoking message board?
or is ISH doomed to be a repetitively stale and immature insult competition, filled with no real basketball fans, but instead individual superstar fans/haters.
On the real, how many of you are actually basket ball fans that enjoy watching the sport whether its being played by a superstar or not?
I agree with everything you said there, imo we need more posters coming up with more quailty threads that don't relate to the same 5 players over and over again.

This forums gone down the drain the past year or so. All of the more knowledgable posters when i first started are all gone, literally all of them. Either they stopped posting completely, or just hang around the OTC. The NBA forum is a school playground, you can almost say anything you want, good or bad, and get away with it. First step is to perma ban certain posters, clean this place up a bit, but Jeff refuses to.
ISH is not a community that can be changed or saved.
As its popularity grew, it has been inundated with more and more casual fans who have shown to be less likely to contribute any kind of critical thought.
The best any one poster can do is ignore the trolls and stans, and continue your productive NBA talk
I absolutely agree with you man. The mods are the only one who control this...
We can all control it to some extent by using the ignore function so as to not be tempted to get into petty arguments with someone who is just trolling, and to not respond to trolls or stans, it is a fruitless endeavor
