Give the Suns forum a mod. We were going to have one but now nothing really happened

Oh and I think that what Psileas said was probably the best post so far. It'd be great for all that to be implemented, especially the search thing.

The reaction time in the OTC is very slow because there are inadequate number of responsible watchers able to quickly dismiss the unnecessary into the garbage pile. Waiting hours or even days to delete rascist threads is unacceptable.

The reports are not anonymous... the system admin and/or mods of the particular forum can see who reported whom.

To respond to gts's comments above, I have learned just not to look in many threads because they get so caustic. I guess its a choice and an unfortunate one to be forced to make. However, it is a by-product of this kind of avenue of open communication and I am not sure that it can be mitigated unless you have full time baby sitters.

Make a written/typed set of rules, make the mods enforce them, let the posters help the mods. All we need is one mod who is one here frequently for the OTC.

Something else: There's a whole subforum about the NBA drafts. How about moving the hundreds of draft related topics posted in the "general NBA" forum in there, so that the "general NBA" keeps its real meaning?
