Default Re: Top 10 Players AFTER the Jordan era

That original list in insanely awkward.

1. Shaquille O'Neal
2. Tim Duncan
3. Kobe Bryant
4. Allen Iverson
5. Jason Kidd
6. Kevin Garnett
7. Dirk Nowitzki
8. Steve Nash
9. Tracy McGrady
10. Dwyane Wade

Nash, Nowitzki, McGrady, Wade, Lebron, shouldn't be on anybody's top 5. They simply haven't done enough SINCE 2000, especially Nash. 2 MVPs, that's about it. From 2000-2004, he was nothing special. Shaq and Duncan are locks for 1 and 2.

Default Re: Top 10 Players AFTER the Jordan era

I'm gonna judge players by their statistical production, playoff success and their impact on the game on a nightly basis. I don't care if Player A has been doing it for 8 years while Player B has only been doing it 3-4 years. If Player B has performed at a higher level then Player A ever did in his 8 years with comparable playoff success...then I'm picking Player B.

1) Shaq - Championships, MVPs and statistical dominance. He's the easy choice.
2) Duncan - Same as Shaq but just to a slightly lesser extent.
3) Kobe - Championships and statistical dominance. Another easy choice.
4) LeBron - Amazing numbers, good playoff success when he's been there and has done more with less than anybody in the league.
5) AI - Scoring titles, MVP and 1 Finals appearance. Like LeBron did a lot with very little around him.
6) Wade - The only guard to lead his to a championship post-MJ. Great numbers and probably the most clutch playoff performer since MJ too.
7) KG - Would've been higher if not for missing the playoffs for 3 straight seasons. That's just inexcusable for a superstar. Aside from that, great numbers for almost a decade now to go along with 1 Finals appearance.
8) Steve Nash - 2 MVPs and deep playoff runs every year.
9) Kidd - Very good numbers every season and led a rather limited team to 2 Finals appearances.
10) T-Mac - Great stats.
