Against certain teams, especially the stronger ones they haven't even played badly, they just couldn't get it done in crunch time. I still think they can take some big scalps during the season. Playoffs are a no no for sure, but I still like this team.

They need to give Jeff Green some more play time, today he has shown that he can contribute to the team and did pretty decent.

Definitely deserves more burn. If they're just gonna throw Durant out there for 35 minutes and say go shoot, they should give Jeff Green 25-30 also.

Not exactly to be fair, but if you're in the rebuilding mode and trying to just let your young talent work themselves into confident and competent NBA players, then develop Jeff Green the same way. Its not exactly like he's going to ruin title hopes, and he's playing well, very well

Is Durant chucking now? Obviously yes. Anybody who says otherwise isn't being honest. I don't care if he's a once-a-lifetime-player waiting to happen, all I know is that he's chucking at a very low percentage clip at this point, and he isn't helping his team win the game.

Bear in mind that the better teams such as the Pistons, would play down to their inferior opponent's level. especially at this early in the season. It showed last night's game during crunch time when the Piston decided it's time to put the game away, and they did.

I fail to understand how any professional basketball player on the face of this earth can be welcomed to shoot 39% and it be deemed as "growth" or "part of the plan".

Unbelievable that people are trying to give Durant a pass just cause they got caught in the hype.

See, this what I'm talking about.

Of course they're not going anywhere. They're trying to make a player into something he's not, and in return he gives you this:

22 ppg, 5 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.5 spg on 39% shooting to go along with an astounding 3.5 TO's a game.

Seriously, how is he averaging that many TO's when he's not even a primary or secondary ballhandler?

39% shooting while averaging more TO's than assists????

C'mon, nobody with any ounce of basketball IQ can condone numbers like these.

Seattle isn't going anywhere but Oklahoma City anytime soon and we all know it. So it's really very simply, they don't want to win and they do want to develop Durant, answer: Tell him to go out there and shoot all he can, he will develop faster as a player and they will get the losses they need for a top3 pick next year.

He always was, look at what he did in college. He's a little black hole , get the ball anywhere near him and it's going up.

At the same time i would have to say that he's made some good passes this season.

i agree with almost everything in this post

although, hold your horses on the move to okc-- the city of seattle is going to do all we can to hold bennett to the existing lease which ends in 2010

hopefully we can pressure him legally and the situation with the arena will change in the interim
