who in the league could challenge Smith for the 5x5?
I've been on his bandwagon since he was a rookie and have been trying to tell people he deserves much more attention. People talk about AK47 and Gerald Wallace a lot, but this kid is better than both of them right now, and is going to improve a ton. I love what he brings to the game defensively too.

Re: Josh Smith...
He will be one of the better players in the league overall pretty soon if he isn't already. He has a decent outside game now believe it or not, and it has room for improvement as well.
He still continues to make the odd boneheaded play, but if learns to be patient and not just rush into something like chucking up that halfcourt shot against the Nets when he should have called a timeout instead. But as he gets older hopefully that common sense will come.
Woop! 100 posts lol.

He is averaging exactly 4 blocks per game mate...
How do you guys think Josh smith will rate in DPOY voting? say he ends the season averaging 3 blocks and nearly 2 steals?...

Yeah,Josh does everything but he needs to improve his handle so he get to the basket better in a 1/2 court set.

I instantly thought Hakeem when I read that, looked it up and it's confirmed.

Excellent young player, no doubt, highly versatile too.
But unfortunately his numbers often don't translate into success, which kind of defuses them a bit in my book. But I don't want to take anything away from him, great player.

Re: Josh Smith...
they play him at the 4 sometimes to make room for Marvin Williams, who probably has more upside than Smith anyways.
i'm not a Josh Smith ***** at all but i really don't rate him in the top 5 SFs in the league.
1. Lebron
2. Carmelo
3. Paul Pierce
4. Shawn Marion
5. Caron Butler
