4 dimes
3.5 steals
4 blocks...

who in the league could challenge Smith for the 5x5?

He still young. I think he can develop the outside game. Hes got all the natural tools...just hope he puts them to use

i dunno, i see him as a 3... i know he plays the 4 often but i think thats because atlanta is trying to put their best 5 on the floor to start the game.

He's too much of a nightmare matchup at the 3 for them to use him anywhere else for extended periods.

And I agree the kid should easily be a top 5 forward in the league a few years from now. Hopefully he can help get the Hawks somewhere.

The knock on him last year was that he played way too selfishly at times, and once he hit a three you knew he was going to chuck up a few more bad ones. I haven't gotten to watch the Hawks much so far, is this still the case?

LeBron could, easily. As we speak he's got a triple double in the 3rd quarter against the Jazz, along with 2 steals and 2 blocks. 5x5 isn't far fetched.

Until he improves his shot selection, he's not reaching that top 3 (behing Lebron and Carmelo) anytime soon. For a guy with his athleticism and size, he is one very inefficient scorer.

meh. i dont see the 5 blocks. he can obviously stuff the 3 main categories and get some steals, but dont see the blocks happening (unless he starts playing the 4)

He's been a beast in blocking ever since he entered the league. He averaged 2.9 bpg last season.
