Default Thank You Steve Belkin!

For not allowing us to trade Acie Law and Horford for Amare. Horford and Law are beasts and Amare will be out of the league in 2 years with bad knees. You are still an a-hole but thanks!

Acie Law is a 6'2'' shooting guard.

He has 4 assists in 86 minutes this season.

Calm down? I'm not pissed or offended. I think Horford is a beast and you could be right about Amare.

I just think it's laughable to call a 6'2'' average scoring SG a "beast."

He's a rookie, but he can penetrate at will and he is learning more about his teammates tendancies so his assists will go up. He will never have high assists because of the type of offense we run but i expect he will avg about 5-6

That's a myth that the Hawks were close to getting Amare.

If anything, that deal was talked about to try to persuade the Wolves to send Garnett to Phoenix.

No way was that deal with Amare coming to Atlanta going to happen.

No.... it will be because he can't do it, not because of the type of offense that is run.:

Amare is still a beast....even if he misses 20 games a season for the rest of his career. Horford and Law have yet to prove they can compete at a high level in the NBA.

I can't wait till we receive the hawks high lottery pick.

Well can Hawks fans elaborate on Acie? I'm surprised at his assist numbers too. Is Joe dominating the ball and starting the offense? Is he the real playmaker there? Does Acie just catch it on the wing for an open shot or a easy drive to the bucket? Acie's not a true playmaker, but he could be in the Sam Cassell type, in my opinion.

W/O shoes he measured out at 6'7.

In regards to Law, our offense isn't very conducive to getting a lot of assists from the PG position. Our "offense" is basically running JJ through screens to get him isolated on the post against a smaller guard....then we pass the ball to a wing to shoot a last second jumpshot...not gonna get a lot of assists out of that.
