Deron Williams thinks Andrei Kirilenko can be a real asset for the Jazz next year, but only if he brings a better work ethic.
"If he's coming off a screen on one side and Matt [Harpring] is coming off a screen on one side, who do you think you're going to pass to?" Williams said. "You think you're going to pass to the guy you see working every day in the gym or are you going to pass to the guy who never works on his shot but yet wants to shoot 'em every time?" AK-47 has some serious work to do to win back his teammates, it appears.
interesting. Always liked that Harpring fellow. what is he a second year player?
Yea, I've never heard of him either.
I like the fact that Deron seems to be taking the team over, showing some leadership. I know Deron was upset with a couple of players after they lost to SA in the playoffs. I guess AK was one of them. It is completely messed up that AK would be willing to sacrafice the chemistry of the team just because he wants to shoot the ball more.
See this is what happens when you make these rookies feel sooo important that hey, they feel they can say anything now a days. How does Deron Williams call out a vet to him?? No respect he should've pulled AK aside as a "TEAMMATE" and say hey men straighten up n fly right bro.
