Let's be real folks, every team has a player or two that the front office/fans give far too much value to. From David Lee in New York to Andrew Bynum in Los Angeles to Paul Milsap in Utah; there is always a guy that even though he's not likely to be a starter the front office or fans expect to get a starting caliber player in a trade for that player.
So who is your favorite team's over-valued trade bait?
This will happen when your team really has only one player with good trade value. I don't see much to want from the Lakers or Knicks other than Bynum and Lee (realistically that is so no Kobe) so fans will overrated them.
I think some Raptor fans overvalue Jose Calderon's value. While he has shown to be a solid starter for short periods of time, I question his durability to play 30+ minutes per game for a full season. Injury issues are always brought up with TJ Ford when Jose Calderon is probably the more likely PG to get injured. He has some serious defensive issues as well.
for chicago i'd say it's the opposite. other teams fans seem to think they can take hinrich and it won't matter because he's got duhon behind him, but as much as i like chris, he's not close to kirk.
boston traded everyone and doesn't even pretend to have any chips left.

I really think if anything it's TJ the Raps overvalue. Had they not already commited a lot of money to him, I think he'd be the one in all the trade rumours rather than Jose.
