i'm still 17 so i got some time to grow. Right now i'm a 6'5-6'6 205 forward. I talked to a few coaches and they said i could make D1 but wouldn't get much burn so i'll probably settle for a D2 college and transfer my junior year.
I'm 6'2" with great athleticism, but staying healthy has always been a problem. Today, I can just about get through a game of pick up ball. After I play, I'm very sore and end up laying down for 2-3 hours. It's a shame too since I was blessed with great athleticism.
I was 6' when I was 11 years old, so I was only ever trained as a PF/C, because all of my coaches thought I would be around 6'10 and fill out. I didn't put on weight, can't bulk up, stopped growing at about 6'8" (maybe a little under), but I played in the Australian CBA, suited up for a couple of NBL games, but I can't play SF as I have no handles, inconsistent jumper, no bulk, so like I said, checkers for me Play the hand you are dealt, you can always love the game and play vicariously through others.
u play any big v now?
i jus turned 18, 6 foot tall about 77 kilos aspirations to become a pro baller one day very hard though in australia but yehh
Bowling if i'd stay with and not choke during playoff matches. I'm clutch in close regualr season games, but was i awful when tournament time rolled around.

Probably at my peak it could have been football. I was a little to arrogant in HS although I cracked under the big lights often. I was a cornerback in Florida where the competition from WR was ridiculous on a daily/weekly basis. After getting injured I was offered scholarships to lower D1 schools and great D2 schools. My ego wouldnt let me go to those schools. What a waste! Currently I am almost the same weight but not as muscular as I was in HS. I played low level semi-pro football as a Free/Strong Safety and I added weight to play weakside LB. I ran the 100 most times between 10.5 and 10.8. The 40 I ran 4.47.
I currently play baseball competitive amateur and here in Japan pro teams have open tryouts so I will go just for ****z and giggles. Although I cant consistently hit a ball over 83 mph at the cages. But I still have the speed though but not for distance.
Before I played baseball I wanted to try out for a pro basketball team here where they have former And1 stars "go get it" and "Helicopter" but I am not good enough or remotely nice enough to make it!
My dream now is to be a pro golfer. Thats something I want to do as my kids get older. Play on the senior circuit.
true, thats why 2 game NBL guy would be the best on the board. NBL is a very high level with several ex NBAer's having played or still playing.
Thanks for the respect, but I said that I only suited up, I never got a run. It was premeditated that I wouldn't get on the court, getting a spot at the end of the bench was more of a reward for constant hard work at training. I was very athletic, but lack the fundamentals required to play a position my size would dictate, ie. SF. I could just jump really high and run fast. Besides a few low post moves and shot blocking ability, that was about it. I could dunk from the free throw line (no one will believe it, but it is the truth, think Brent Barry style), but I couldn't shoot from there, that about sums it up, I am certain there are guys on this board that would destroy my sorry ass back in the day.

Nah, last time I played VBL was in '02 for Warragul (That was pretty much the last time I played at all, really). The key to playing in Australia is to get into a teams system as a junior, Melbourne Tigers have several levels of junior teams, or play in heaps of tournaments or state teams (Vic Country/Metro). But because you are 18, try finding out some info on ABA/VBL squads, I don't know if it has changed, but some of them have NBL affiliates, or at least NBL veterans and siblings of players that are only willing to help. ABA and especially VBL teams tend to like youngsters at training, too. Get on the training squad in an ABA or VBL team and you have taken the first big step. Hope this helps.

Track -- anything sprint-related. I was very fast around 18-25 years old, and am still very fast (though slightly slower) at 29, mostly due to about 20 pounds of extra weight. And of course age.
Possibly basketball (CBA or foreign league). It's hard to tell, because I've played (and gotten the better of) many D1/CBA/foreign players over the years in summer leagues and such, but you never know how that would translate.
What's your fastest 100 m time...I had a 10.8 once...one faster time was wind aided....I still always think I am the fastest guy around its just what I am used to. I am also older tha you so I gained that extra 25 lbs from 175-180 guy to a 200-210 lbs guy but I am working out some more now...guy how much quickness and hops you give up in ten pounds...
If I had to say I would probably say NFL becuz of speed really....I never really got to my full potential speed wise I am only 6 foot but people always wanted me to play American Football...they wanted me to return kicks etc. I just refused. Also soccer....I was pretty goo and becuz I am caribbean initally I was way ahead of kids in the U.S and Canada but I stopped playin once I got into Basketball becuz Basketball was the one thing that was an ultimate challenge....everything else natural athletcism gave me the advanatge in basketball becuz I'd never played only watched until I was like 12 I had to work on skills.

That's what happened to me basically I was 6 foot at 13 and I actually like playing in the post but I never grew past 6 foot. playing street ball improved my handle but never was a jump shooter till much later when I basically gave up on being an "athlete" for anything more than recreation....but I don't have the Pg mentality really...but when I see people talk about players quikness on TV it's kinda funny cuz on an official size court I am surprised a lot of these pros aren't quicker...
Anyone here that says basketball(NBA level, anyways... probably even overseas) is full of ****. College, I could buy that. Pro? Haha.
There are Semi Pro and Pro leagues in Canada/Asia and Europe that aren't all that.....NBA is the most exclusive big time team sport league out on pure numbers I mean 400 members only

I know what you mean, I just didn't work on handles or shooting, because dunking on guys was too much fun. Guess what? It is worth the same as a mid-range jumper. I don't have mid-range game or handles, now too unfit to dunk much. That is why I believe the quality of the NBA is on a downward spiral, style over substance. KIDS, LEARN FUNDAMENTALS!!!
