Default The T-Wolves are going to be the worst team this year.

With Garnett out of the picture, I really don't see the T-Wolves winning more than 20 games.

Sure they got Al Jefferson, Ricky Davis, Gerald Green, Juwan Howard, and Corey Brewer. but still isn't enough to get 30 wins or more.

I can see the T-Wolves getting the worst record next year and getting a Top 5 lottery pick.

I think the team will be given a one year pass with the fans, so they might as well make the most of it and intentionally stink. They should use Ricky Davis to get rid of the contract of either Bount or Jaric, so that they'll be better set up for the future. I haven't really looked to see who has a $12 million expirer to send back, but if they do this they could enter the 08 offseason with a top 5 pick, Foye, Greenx2, Jefferson, and lots of cap space. That's all the youth they'll need for a proper rebuild, so they can go ahead and max out whoever's on the free agent market.

If they don't trade some of the bad contracts away though, they won't be able to max anybody and will be stuck doing the slow rebuild. I don't think Minnesota has enough die hard fans to suffer through a long-term rebuild plan.

Did you mistake Jeff Green with Corey Brewer?

They will probably go into the season thinking they can get Mayo.

Yes. I pictured Brewer in my head, and just forgot what his name was. Oops!

What they need to focus on, is getting a star player onto the T-Wolves roster. An all star player or superstar player. Unless if they're going to be like the Bulls, which was basically youth players and not a veteran player.

Okay, maybe they could try again to help feed Spree's family....

Will have to see if they do develop into superstars this year. but if they don't, why wait? The T-Wolves could be using the money to get a veteran superstar, on the market.

Al Jeff will average 22 and 10, foye 20 and 5 assists and Corey Brewer will average 13 and 6 rebounds. I think they'll be better then the sixers. They have Ricky.

Doesn't their pick go to the Clippers?

If Arenas doesn't bounce back strong, the Wizads will be the worst team. Minny is lottery bound, but Seattle is in a similar position (lots of young talent, but even less experience), Portland will be about as bad (more young talent with no experience) and the Clippers are positioned to be quite bad. Also, Philly and Indy are going to struggle mightily.

Rose, Beasley or Mayo are all good rebuilding players... anyone of these 3 would be good for T-Wolves...

I disagree with the bolded statement. I think the Wizards can learn to survive without Arenas, by survive I mean play .400 ball. Minny will be lucky to make .300

I'd rate the crud teams in this order from worst to best:
1: Minnesota- What have they got? A bunch of guys that don't mesh. Too many two guards, and the pairing of Blount and Jefferson up front, a frontcourt that doesn't work particularly well together. The team also lacks a real point guard.
2: Seattle- Who's going to lead this team? Kurt Thomas? Luke Ridnour? This team has more question marks than the Riddler.
3: LA Clippers- No Brand=no winning record. Al Thornton needs to step in and contribute straight away.
4: Indiana- A mish-mash of talent, and overpaid role players. A Jermaine O'Neal injury away from taking the number 1 spot.
5: Portland- There will be a lot of bright spots, but they are just too young.
