Dude has the wingspan of a 7 footer, ala Tayshun Prince who has been very solid on defense and the boards. And even though it was college, Durant was a force in the paint mainly because of his length and not his strength,

Explain what an interior defender is to the board.
Explain how Durant would be an interior defender in the NBA and recent international play.
Explain how Durant was not an interior defender in summer league.
Explain the difference between college players he faced vs the players he will face.
Explain Tayshaun Prince on defense to the board.

Didn't Durant have just as many block per game as Oden did? That kind of proves he can defend down low. He isn't blocking jumps shots all day.

he wanted miller for his outside shooting since team usa was taking heat for their lack of it. durant isn't as good as a proven shooter as miller i suppose.
