Hes the first athlete Ive ever seen maintain a 5 star ranking in both Football and Basketball
i remember seeing him play a high school basketball game and thinking hed certainly be a first round pick in the NBA Draft
then after researching him I found out he was the #1 prospect in high school football too as well as a top prospect in basketball
Is this guy possibly going to be able to do both?
a NBA/NFL player
i've watched him on TV he goes to Jeanette High School and was in SI for football he's a great player and plans on playing both basketball and football in college he's 6'6..
Well, lets see.
He's ranked 5 stars in both football and basketball. Football:The 6-foot-6, 220-pound quarterback is dominant either running or passing, not to mention a great defender at safety. He has been timed at 4.46 seconds in the 40, bench presses 300 pounds and has a 37-inch vertical jump.
He completed 92 of 163 passes for 1,732 yards and 15 touchdowns – with just five interceptions. He also ran 197 times for 1,676 yards and 28 touchdowns. On defense he had 10 interceptions. During his sophomore year he ran 78 times for 663 yards and 10 touchdowns, while completing 56 of 106 passes for 719 yards and six touchdowns. Basketball:During the 2006-2007 season he averaged 20.8 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and three blocks as the Jayhawks reached the Class AA state semifinals. He had six triple doubles. He averaged 21.5 points and 10 rebounds with 50 dunks as a sophomore. As a freshman he averaged 16.8 points and 10 rebounds. His career total of 1,658 points is 61 short of the school record and the team has compiled a 73-14 record during that period.
So he's definetly impressive in both sports, but he cant play both. he'll have to choose one, and stick with it. It would be too much wear and tear on his body for him to play both.
Pitt, Penn State, Ohio State, West Virginia, Nebraska and Clemson are some of the schools that have offered him football scholarships. Pitt, Penn State, Connecticut, Clemson and Miami have offered him basketball scholarships.
Pryor says he might like to try both sports in college, but many believe football would be his best bet. How many 6-6 quarterbacks are there with Pryor's ability?
thats what Pryor thinks Idk basketball, football and classes?? GOOD LUCK Terrelle... I hope he attempts it but don't the seasons run into each other?
Ronald Curry, Julius Peppers, Nate Robinson, Tony Gonzalez, Antonio Gates, Donovann Mcnabb just to name a few off the top of my head. He can do both in college but he cant do both in the pro's. Has to pick one.

I never thought i would see a thread on Pryor on ISH but he is definitely a topic of conversation around my area. I have seen him play football and basketball in person and his athletisicm is amazing. Luckly his school is AA for basketball and we are AAA only in basketball or i might have to guard him in a game. At one football game I watch him absolutely destroy a reciever, he hit him so hard that he was out cold and missed the rest of the game and the next one because of the hit. He is a tremendous basketball player but I think he will be better off playing football pro. It just seems like he is born to be a football player but i could see him in the NBA if he directed his energies toward basketball.
I'd be careful overrating, hyping up young prospects beyond belief. Thats setting up thier fall or failure to meet/each expecations harder. I can run off a list of guys like Terelle Pryor who was now unknown or just arent what they were talked/typed out to be.
