Frye is better overall from the high post than Aldridge. He can put the ball on the floor and attempt to finish or make the pass better than Aldridge can.
You guys. Who cares. They're both on the same team, both young. Who ever plays better will win the starting position, Frye or Aldridge. Doesn't matter.
I think Nate is just experimenting a little with Oden and Roy's play with these guys. That's how these things work with young teams. Once that's figured out, they'll either both play or one will be traded if he's not satisfied with the bench.
I think KP likes Frye a lot. Don't expect Frye to be shopped.
Anyway, Frye has been working his but off because he wants playing time. The two have hit it off well and are pushing each other. I only see positive things coming from this. Though, there are rumors that the heel problem Aldridge had during summer league is still around causing concerns (seems similar to what Roy had last year from the descriptions). That said, I say 60% Frye starts at the beginning of the season. I don't see it lasting all season, but at the start, I'm thinking Frye.
The Portland Trailblazers are gonna trade Frye and another bench player for a small forward.
thats the rumour around here in portland....alot of the columnst here are saying the same thing. i dont know why Channing fye is a great young player he probalby would be considered a vet on this team with how young they are.
