How can I miss the point when you missed the purpose of the thread?
You may have been looking for him to say.....Shaq? He didnt . He said Caron Butler and I respect that since Butler was a good upcoming player and traded him for one of the worst bust ever drafted 1st overall!!!! I can understand that.
The spurs have never traded away a good player that i can recall, but they have let players walk for nothing: Stephen Jackson, Raja Bell (tried out for the team but didnt make it), Derrick Anderson, Speedy Claxton etc.
They traded Dennis Rodman for Will Perdue, worst trade ever.
In the last 10 years, think of a player you wished your team hadn't trade away.
If you're a Laker fan, you have to wish O'Neal wasn't traded. The franchise has been irrelevant since he left and is showing no signs of picking up. Going the Shaq direction wouldn't have won them any titles but the Bryant direction has been constant drama on a garbage team.
Only a Bryant disciple would argue that the one player they wished they had back was Caron Butler and not Shaq.

This shouldn't be an argue thread. Just post your player on your team that you wish your team had not traded. Jeezus, the thread is self-explanatory. Butler was the man's choice and it was a good one. They got nothing for Butler.
Yeah, they got Odom and Butler, which they (stupidly) turned into Odom and Brown; the end result.
Contribute to this thread? I'm discussing the poster's choice. This is a message board. It's about discussion. What, nobody can criticize anyone else's choices now? Everybody just post what they think without considering others'? That eliminates the purpose of this entire forum. If some is scared that another won't agree with them and doesn't feel like defending that choice, they really shouldn't be allowed near the internet.
I've never really regreted a trade the Sixers have done. Players that have left Philly have either didn't really taken off to what was expected or was a star on a team that was downward spiralling or would have hindered the progression of the team. I'm more dissappointed in the players we seem to get back from a trade. Especially the return we got for Barkley.

Somehow, someway this turns into another Kobe thread. Freakin get a life.
Maybe Shaq's not his favorite person in the world and didn't mind seeing him leave. Probably why he chose Caron Butler so don't blame him. My choice is obviously...Eddie Jones. Would've been nice to see him play as a Laker longer seeing how Phil likes big guards. I didn't particularly like Glen RIce at the time, I thought he was a liability on defense (with his bad knees and all).
Hateraid, I guess since for the last 10 years the Sixers have been A.I. and (the other 14 guys), so really the guys they've traded really didn't matter one way or another.
God sakes. Look at Butler right now. He is an all star damnit and I expected him to become an all star.
We got absolutely nothing in return for Butler. We got Laron Profit, a injury prone player and a first round bust, Kwame Brown. Laron Profit was waived and Brown hasn't even developed yet.
I didn't care much for the Shaq trade, he was a great player in LA, but he was at the age where players usually decline.
