Seems that all we have on here is reworded topics.
Part of it is due to NBA virtual inactivity, so it's understandable.
So I have one for you.....
1) are there any team forums that have mods that probably don't necessarily need any??......
or
2)have too many?.........
or
3) have none and could use at least one??????
My answers to the above three are.......
1) All teams should have a mod.
2)The Lakers and Cavs should have more. Way too much hate on them not to have more.
3)Some teams forums I think is a joke for not having any. Like for instance, as many posters and visitors on the Raptors forum. No excuse for there not to be a mod in there. Inexcusable. No disrespect, but if the Bocats got one........you kinda get my point.

I am not sure where you got this opinion regarding the Laker forum? We all get along really well there, even when we disagree. We have three mods, and they are rarely apparent, as it should be.

I was referring to the hate the respective teams receive constantly, not the mebers of the forum. Those two team could have 4 mods each and it wouldn't cover year round hate.

I don't think you've been on the Los Angeles Lakers team forum. The moderators on the Los Angeles Lakers forum do a pretty decent job in moderating.
They and if you notice I mentioned that with year round hate, they could have 4 and they would still be busy.
I guess an innocent thread will turn into the usual.

There might be people who make dummy accounts and cause trouble by making threads which don't really make sense, but there isn't that much hate.

It's ok. We get quite a few viagra psots and porn on our forum alot. I try to catch some, but we have been blessed to have 3 mods...... HTR, Bigdaddybluesman and myself. So we keep it clean on their.
as of late I have tried to make peace with other forums also, so that the trolling can be minimal.
I still think it's jacked up that a team like the raptors don't have a mod yet.
I really doubt that the Raptors fourm will ever get a Mod.

How was the process going?
Was there some good nominees?
Did anyone email Jeff the results?
The main people that were nominated were: Myself, Pistol Pete, Dr. Funk, Chamberlin and Done & Done.
Nobody emailed Jeff or anything because he can easily just go into the thread and see who the majority wants to be a mod. I have pmed him a couple times but he doesn't answer them.
The process was going fine at the beginning but then people realized that no mod was going to be named so the thread just sits there at the top of the forum.
