No, different guy. I'm not laughing at you, per se. I'm laughing cause most people that aren't familiar with the Oak Hill program but follow basketball say the same thing.

This is the guy that roams the sidelines for Oak Hill's all star team.

And it really is an all star team. Oak Hill has two varsity basketball teams. One competes in the league for the school's district. The other tours the country like a traveling circus.

Not to mention they recruit kids to come to their school.

phew... i thought Steve Smith (NBA) aged that fast... i was thinking about him returning to NBA... with Penny back and Pippen, Houston and Regg considering... he might stand a good chance as well... isn't he like 35+ only?

So...Oak Hill's 'traveling' squad is better than their team that plays locally then I imagine? Do they have the same head coach? Do they practice together?

No. From what I was told there is almost no connection. Alledgedly they don't even play in the same gym.

I personally don't believe the part about the gym though.

It's not even close. Oak Hill's traveling squad is basically a national AAU team where kids study together. Oakhill's other vasity is a real school team.

Put it this way, Oakhill's traveling squad is not allowed to compete for the Virginia State Championship.

ok that clears it up. I just thought what you meant by "Traveling circus" was that they were a less serious team.
