The OP lost me when he called Pippen a "proven clutch player."
Anyway, the pecking order is Pippen > Hill > Hardaway. Prime Pippen is over prime Hill due to his defensive impact; in every other respect, prime Hill was superior. Hill was a much more aggressive and capable individual scorer than Pippen was (probably had the best handle of any 6'7"+ player not named TMac).
It's seems to be madeout that these guys are similiar scorers when really Penny is a signifigantly better scorer than PIPPEN and discernably better than HILL. even in teh clutch G-HILL never showed as much as Hardaway did to me...he showed heart....but in the NBA g-HIll wasn't as much of a money player as Hardaway was.
It's just Hardaway brokedown so quickly......but overall as a 1st option scorer he's KB8 to Hill's Lebron...and becuz he's actually a very good and willing passer I think Penny is the best 1st option if he's not the bestall-round player
